Although Sebastian Buchner is not featured as a character in my book, some of you might remember him, since he was one of the most popular speakers on the “IndiaCamps” which Wolfgang and me had organized. IndiaCamp was a very unusual format, where people could host their own sessions and benefit from eachother’s experiences. Sebastian showed up there one day and fascinated everyone by showing us pictures of north India and telling stories about his travels in his tender voice.
After the first India Camp, Sebastian founded his own blog, which is still online today. You can check it out to read the stories of his travels there; although he’s an Austrian himself, many of his posts are written in English.
However, it is a less known fact that Sebastian is not only a storyteller, traveler and photographer, but also a fan of George Lucas’ “Star Wars“-movies. And so he told us recently that he had written a fan-story a few years ago, which people can read on his blog.

However, the word “story” is a bit misleading. “Mirrors of the Force” has roughly 30.000 words, which makes it more a novella than a story. Some people said that they printed the whole story out in order to read it before going to bed; I myself have sent it to my Kindle (you can easily do that by sending a pdf to your Kindle’s email-adress and typing “convert” into the subject line of the mail).
I’ve been very occupied with Christmas and other December-stuff recently (like writing the last articles of 2015), but I’m looking forward to some time for Sebastian’s story – my Kindle tells me that the estimated reading time is two hours.
